Children may be referred to the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program (YRPSLP) until May 31, prior to school entry (JK, SK or Grade 1 depending on your child’s earliest enrolment). Services are free and a doctor’s referral is not required. YRPSLP does not provide services for children attending publicly funded school.  Families are encouraged to connect with their child’s teacher if they have any speech and/or language concerns.
