Supporting Caregiver Wellness: New Caring for the Caregiver Video Series

This 4-part video series is a result of a collaborative effort between the Community and Family Participation Program at Children’s Treatment Network and Dr. Shivajan Sivapalan, M.D. and Dr. Kira Vimalakathan, C. Psych., from the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre (SAAAC). Each video explores various topics and tips related to caregiver wellness that can be used in your day- to-day life.  Caregiver wellness is essential for effective care, longevity in the role and personal well-being. Prioritizing your wellness as a caregiver can help you stay mindful in the present day, appreciating the joy of each moment and time spent with others. When you take care of yourself, you are also taking care of others.
